Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking skilled and experienced Journeyman Electricians in Homestead, FL. This person will be initially supporting a large Electrical Bus/charging facility project with the county. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with large electrical projects and high voltage commercial electrical work. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in large commercial and industrial settings, including high voltage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and compliance with project specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex electrical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate work and ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Mentor and train apprentices and less experienced electricians, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as Journeyman electrician
- Experience with large-scale electrical projects and high voltage commercial work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces
PLUS
- Journeyman Electrician license
- Electrician experience for a Utility company or charging facility
